Sometimes the Highest-Leverage Fix Isn't Another Campaign

Senior-Level Strategy on Positioning, Funnel Structure, and Offer Design — From Someone Who's Also Run the Execution
A lot of marketing problems don't get solved by spending more on ads — they get solved by fixing what happens before and after the click. Verdalta brings 15 years of hands-on execution experience to the strategic questions most consultants only theorize about.
What is Marketing Consulting?
An Outside, Experienced Perspective — Not Just More Campaign Management
Marketing Consulting is senior-level strategic guidance on the things that determine whether your marketing actually works: positioning, offer structure, funnel design, and where growth is genuinely getting stuck.
It's not a replacement for execution — it's the layer that makes execution actually effective, whether that execution is run by Verdalta or your own internal team.
This can be a standalone engagement (a funnel audit, a strategy sprint) or an ongoing advisory relationship — including a fractional CMO-style arrangement for businesses that want embedded senior marketing leadership without a full-time hire.

WHY MOST MARKETING CONSULTING FALLS SHORT
Two common problems:
Consultants who've never run the execution. A lot of strategic advice comes from people who haven't actually managed a live campaign, an ad account, or a follow-up process in years — the advice sounds right in a deck and falls apart in practice.
Agencies that only sell more campaign management. Most agencies have a structural bias toward "the answer is more ad spend" because that's what they get paid to manage. An honest diagnosis sometimes concludes the opposite — your funnel, offer, or follow-up process is the actual problem, not your traffic volume.
Verdalta's consulting comes from someone who's run real budgets and real campaigns for 15 years — the recommendations are grounded in what's actually worked, not theory.
What's Included
Customer Lifecycle Marketing Strategy
Advisory only, not managed execution: guidance on retention, reactivation, and lifecycle segmentation strategy (email/SMS flows, membership renewal logic, win-back campaigns). We'll help design the strategy and roadmap; execution runs through your team or a specialized platform/vendor rather than Verdalta directly, since this isn't infrastructure we manage in-house.

Agency Partner Management & Audit
For businesses that already work with an external ad agency but want an independent set of eyes on performance, spend, and process. We audit what's actually being delivered against what's being reported, flag where the relationship could be optimized, and hold the existing agency accountable to real metrics — as an objective third party with no financial stake in that agency's contract.

The Verdalta Growth Protocol
Step 1: Diagnose
We start with your numbers, not assumptions — where traffic comes from, where it drops off, what's actually converting.
Step 2: Build Demand
Targeted paid media, SEO, and content built around how your specific buyers actually search and decide.
Step 3: Capture Every Opportunity
AI-driven response systems engage every lead the moment it arrives — qualifying, answering, and booking without waiting on human bandwidth.
Step 4: Convert With Strategy
This is where 15 years of experience matters most — the campaign decisions, funnel adjustments, and offer positioning that turn traffic into booked revenue.
Step 5: Report, Optimize, Scale
Transparent, real-time reporting. No black boxes — you see exactly what's working and why.
FAQ
Yes — Marketing Consulting is strategic guidance, standalone or ongoing, and doesn't necessarily include hands-on campaign execution. Many clients use consulting to identify what needs fixing, then either execute it internally or add on Verdalta's execution services (SEM, Search Everywhere Optimization, Social Media Ads, AI Lead Capture) as a next step.
Both are available — a focused audit/strategy sprint for a specific question, or an ongoing advisory relationship (including fractional CMO-style engagements) for businesses that want continued senior-level input.
No — the diagnosis comes first, and it's honest regardless of whether the fix is something Verdalta offers. If the right answer is a change to your sales process or a tool we don't provide, that's what gets recommended.
Not necessarily, and that's not the starting assumption. Sometimes an audit shows your existing agency is performing well and just needs tighter accountability or reporting standards. Sometimes it reveals a real problem worth addressing directly with them, or occasionally that switching makes sense. Either way, the diagnosis is independent — we have no financial stake in your existing agency relationship, so there's no built-in incentive to recommend a change that isn't actually warranted.
Not always, and we're upfront about which is which. Most of our consulting areas (funnel/positioning, offers, paid media strategy) pair with services we also execute directly. Customer lifecycle marketing is an exception — we can advise on strategy and roadmap, but we don't currently manage that execution in-house, so that work would run through your team or a specialized vendor.
Project-based for a defined audit/strategy engagement, or a flat monthly fee for ongoing advisory — covered specifically on a discovery call based on scope.
